Vintage Mid Century Elgin Starburst Clock - Original Walnut Wood Starbursts + White on Brass Face
This is a really fabulous Vintage Mid Century Starburst made by Elgin in the 1960's. The Elgin clock company was known for making a huge plethora of clock designs and they are still around today. Their beautiful starburst designs throughout the 1950s through the 1970s made them a household name in all types of time pieces. They also were the manufacturer of Welby clocks, which was a devision of the company.
STARBURST DESIGN
The Starbursts spokes are brass with with solid walnut wood starbursts.
FACE
The original face of the clock is brass with accented painted metal. The center clock face and brass and hands have some natural patina with slight discoloration. There are a few small / dotted rust spots on the clock face - Please see photos
BATTERY OPERATED
This clock is in great working condition. Battery operated. Takes C type battery.
